One of the questions I get most often from readers and friends is, “What do your kids like to read?” We’ve tried many children’s books but the best kids books, hands down, have been the ones with stories that are full of imagination and creative inspiration, books that open our minds and stretch our brain muscle. We love books that have been beautifully designed and superbly packaged (because, let’s be honest, we all judge a book by its cover). My kids (and I) like to read stories that take us somewhere. . .they love books that engage them with new ideas and allow them to try new things.
Over the years most of our favorite books have come from Usborne Books & More.
Why Usborne Books & More?
Our books entice children to dive into the information and surface again eager to learn more. Randall White, President
And that is exactly what these books have done for our family. As parents, we want our kids to crave knowledge because knowledge is power. We long for them to get lost in a book because creativity breeds innovation and innovation brings progress. We want our kids to be always forward moving in personal and academic development. Usborne Books & More is a valuable resource that will do just that.
I’ve put together The Big List of Best Kids Books from Usborne Books & More because I know how overwhelming it can be to search for books that will engage and inspire kids at each stage of life. This list includes the best of the best for your family from the baby stage right up to high school (and many will be loved by older kids and even adults).
The Big List of Best Kids Books is broken down by age and category:
- Babies + Toddlers
- Preschool + Kindergarten
- Picture Books
- Early Readers
- Age 7-9 (1st-3rd grade)
- Age 9-12+ (3rd-8th grade)
- Educational/Activity Books
- Homeschool Supplements/Resources (by subject)
Connecting kids to books that draw them in is the first step to raising readers. And engaging in read-aloud and exploration activities as a family will lead to a stronger family bond and beautiful, personal growth for each family member.
My hope is that this list will guide you and your kids on amazing new adventures and encourage growth in creativity and academics for all.
