It has been a joy to see these prayers spread across the world via Facebook this past month. Over 5 million people have viewed and are praying these words over our teachers and students as we start a new school year.
My hope is that these prayers would be spoken regularly over the men and women who have committed their lives to serve our children through education and over our kids as they open their minds to learn and grow this year.

I shared my heart for staying positive in public education on the Huffington Post last month as well as 6 ways we are helping our kids win in public school via Tommy Nelson last week. And even though I focus on public school because it’s what we are called to, these prayers and our heart for teachers and students in this community transcends different schooling methods. Wherever you are called to be this school year, be all there with the confidence that comes from knowing you are in God’s will. Pray these prayers over your children, their friends, teachers and co-op teachers. Let’s stand on God’s promise to go before us this school year.
